ENTRY LIST: Phoenix II - CHASE RACE #7 [Race 23 of 24]

The next to last race of the Full Throttle Cup Series season will be at Phoenix International Raceway. We are extending this race by 100 kilometers to a '400' as opposed to the standard '300' we've run before. This race was Shyguy's most recent Full Throttle Cup Series victory, a sweep with a Rising Star win in fact.

Burnout needed to win at Sonoma for any realistic shot at the championship so it's basically a Lanz and JonnO battle to the Cup. This is due to this race and Homestead being 'drop races' for the players that have driven the past six Chase races. Lanz does hold an advantage being the points leader and having opportunities to likely gain back more points per race than JonnO in drops. JonnO should make it a goal to win both this and Homestead to counter the advantage he has.

Burnout (Farmers Insurance Chevy Impala Chase)

Gave it all I had. Happy to close in as close as I did to at least get in the title picture. Now my chances are so small I'm basically out of it unless Lanz struggles HORRIBLY. Don't wish that kind of luck though. Good luck Lanz and JonnO on the 2012 title!

Not able to be there Burnout - we are moving house the next day. We can either give it a 2 week offweek or hastily rearrange a date - perhaps we can run the Phoenix cup race this tuesday, the phoenix rising star race the following tuesday, and then homestead the week after that as planned? But I will not be there to SC this wednesday, so thats my best suggestion.

Hmm we'll talk about it Sunday.
