Dore has been masterful in the Chase for the Full Throttle Cup this year, winning every single race. He has now tied Burnout for the most consecutive wins in a row - a feat Burnout set in 2012. Dore looks to break that record AND break a record Slick currently owns of most percentage of wins in Chase races. In 2009, Slick won four out of six Chase races (66.67% win rate). At this point, Dore is at 62.5%, so one more win will break Slick's record. Five Chase wins though is already a new record for Dore. (Burnout won the first four Chase races and the race prior to the Chase for his five straight.)
This streak Dore has been on looks to lock him into the Championship as there is only one race to go before the drop races. Basically if Dore finishes 6th or better, he will clinch the 2015 championship. A truly impressive season for Dore.
Up next though is our final road course for FTC this season - Road America. The race will run on MONDAY rather than Wednesday. See you at 21 GMT.
