Simms recieves a penalty for crashing with Lanz with 12 laps to go. His laps lead at that time go to Shyguy. He attempted to let Lanz past but gave up very quickly. Ironically, if Simms HAD let him past, he would of won the race since Lanz ran out of fuel in the closing laps.

Lags were prominent in the race today - they caused Simms's crash and caused a chop on JonnO by myself with around 30 to go. I have apologized to JonnO for this and I think its smoothed over.. we had a great battle to the checkers with some awesome racing with Lanz 3 wide with about 7/8 to go and then a fantastic final lap with a strong defense from me on the backstretch. Anyone who doubts my chop on JonnO was lags can see that 2 laps before I did exactly the same thing in the same place on the race track, this time hitting simms on the side. It was a great battle anyway - and I probably owe JonnO one now!

All I can say is ... SO CLOSE :'( Oh the Irony Damn Lags Damn Lanz Oh Well at least I now know what its like to take the chequered flag in a Rising Star race, I just don't know the Rising Star Victory Lane feeling yet, but to be honest I am glad that I received a penalty as I knew I hadn't earned this win fairly and I would hate to have won unfairly in a DOC or Trent style win, if only Slick had told me to do a drive-through penalty then maybe I could have still won the race. Oh well Now I'm even more determined to win a race legit (perhaps this Sunday ).

Congrats Shyguy and tough luck Simms with the penalty. Go get em in the Cup race!

I'll get results/standings updated for FTC by tomorrow. I can't do RS Michigan yet until a decision is made regarding Coolsea. I'll try to get Daytona graphics made up by Saturday for your video.

You seemed to be in the top 4/5 all race which was awesome.
Sadly this race had lots of lags which determined many things (mainly multi-car crashes uaheuehuehe), hopefully the server am better for Sunday which is vital for a track where everyone runs so close to the wall.

Simms am going to win on Sunday :D:D:D

Bump, the lack of placement in the correct order annoys me.. lol
