Cheers, shame because of my stupid strategy at the start I got no bonuses.. So I don't gain any championship points on Burnout, the win was just limiting losses.

Yeah it was like I had taped up my car before the race since I was running laps that couldn't be run later on in the race in normal fuel/tire load. Since had 100% damage, and a lower fuel, I could run some pretty dang nice laps to keep up front.

I was running 15.8s during that first run, and couldn't run faster than a 16.0 after my first stop.

Seems like if you start in the back and you want to work your way forward, you need to take a BIG RISK on fuel to get to the front. I think this system favors front row starters though unless we restrict startfuel changes for the front row.

Thoughts?

I'm usually the same way. I'm a lot better when racing in a pack or under pressure. It seems this pressure is rubbing off on my qualifying runs, unless I'm getting lucky, I'm regularly qualifying top 3!
