Monday will be Race #11 for the SCARTS Racin' Edge Truck Series from the newly created Indianapolis Motor Speedway by Rendy. We will run the road circuit that this track has for our second and final road course event of the cup.
Burnout has strung together three straight victories to really make this a battle for the championship between him and Dore. How well these drivers do in the last two drop races will determine our champion. Burnout has an additional victory and currently has the tiebreaker should it come down to a tie at Homestead. What will aid Dore is to try and dominate Indy to make it difficult for Burnout to make up enough points at Dore.
Now in terms of drops, Burnout has a potential 32 points to gain back (a 17 and 19 pointer), whereas Dore only has 29 (a 15 and 24 pointer). Dore has had a spectacular season so he can solidify his chances by claiming one more victory to really take advantage of his 15 point race he is attempting to drop. This is the pivotal event for Dore to put away Burnout, or the championship may go right onto Homestead!
Again this race is on MONDAY, not Wednesday!
