Wednesday, July 29 is the Full Throttle Cup Series race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Two drivers have raced all 13 races this year: Burnout & Laf. This means the final three races before the Chase are drop races as only the top 13 races in terms of points earned will be counted towards the regular season total. Simms has raced 10 events so the final three races for him are worth full value. He has a 30 point gap to make up on Laf if neither of those two win a race. Laf needs to perform the best he can to make up points to drop some of his worst races so he can hold off Simms.
Should be an interesting battle to get into the Chase, but don't forget the simplest way to remove the stress of points racing is to WIN!
