Since I will always have some free time on a thursday after Rising Star, I thought I should get into doing these results again. Dore can continue to do them for Cup since I'll be busy on sunday evenings. Anyway, here we are:

Notes

Shyguy and Anon both lead an equal amount of laps, so I've awarded both maximum bonus points (as NASCAR would).

Szymek went below the yellow line on the finish, so receives a +5 second penalty.

Sam gets an official warning for waiting up on the pack and influencing the race result as a lapped car. I understand however that this form of pack racing is a new situation and he may not have thought of how his draft would effect the finish. We are bringing in a new rule SPECIFICALLY for Superspeedway races where you do NOT have to give way to lapping cars until the last 10 laps, and within those last 10 laps if a caution comes out we shall give anyone who yielded to the pack their lap back. 

We are also going to bring in a "blue flag", which will be very prominent (like the Yellow flag graphic) and coloured blue, if we show a blue flag more than once to you and it is still ignored, penalties will ensue. This should avoid all confusion with lapped cars in future and will apply to all races, not just Daytona.

All in all this was a fantastic race to be a part of, I loved it (including the finish), and had great fun throughout the race, this style of pack racing is really really fun!
