It's time SCARTS fans! It's the start of a new Full Throttle Cup Series season, our first on the new version of Turbo Sliders 2.4. Those of you that haven't raced the SCARTS Shootout or are behind on the news, drafting and tire wear has come to Turbo Sliders and is making its debut this season starting at Daytona. New race strategies have come to the forefront as tire wear now has a new system in place. For Daytona, tires don't falloff in speed but in grip/handling.
This year's Daytona 500 looks to be our greatest yet as we will be pack racing for 500 miles on Sunday! The race lineup for this race has already been set - Delux claimed the Daytona 500 pole position prior to the Shootout and the rest of the lineup is formed by the finishing order from the Shootout race. Sam won the Shootout, so he will start alongside Delux on the front row. Any additional players that join in Sunday's race will be positioned behind the Shootout competitors in order of practice time.
Reirom won last years race in DOMINANT fashion, hence we will nickname this race, the REItona 500. Nobody will ever forget Reirom's performance last year, etching his name in the record books with drivers like Burnout and Lanz.

2013 Daytona 400 Winner: Burnout
