ENTRY LIST: Charlotte [Race 8 of 22]

Wednesday June 6th is Race #8 at Charlotte Motor Speedway - kicking off the first of THREE events at one of our signature SCARTS racetracks.

The sixth annual SCARTS All-Star race and Showdown will run on Sunday the 10th and the SCARTS World 600 will run on the 17th for Full Throttle Cup.

This year, the Spring Rising Star race at Charlotte will be extended to 400 kilometers (much like Cup is extended from 500 to 600 km), while the Fall race will remain the standard 300.

#22 - Burnout (Discount Tire Dodge Challenger)

As I said to you on msn I don't particularily like the idea of extending the race 100km.. I don't think those will add anything, it will probably just make the race less interesting. If we take a look at last years RS races at Charlotte (both 300km) they were great, especially of course the spring race with 6 cars finishing within a second or so of eachother. Theres nothing special about running extra in RS like there is in running 250 in cup.. the 600 is a real test, a 400 just seems pointless to me.

But it's a trivial thing to worry about anyway

I've got to agree with Shguy on the race length issue, I believe that a 300km race would be much better than a 400km race. However whatever distance the race is 400 or 300km I will be there in the #38 Great Clips Chevrolet.

I don't mind about the race length. All I care about is if the racing is good

#32 as usual.

Again it's a ONE RACE deal to coincide with FTC's marathon. To me 125 is uber short for this track - laps in the 12.9s.

Hopefully I'll be there by 20 past, but Im almost certain to miss practice and qualifying. Its possible I'll miss the start or even the first half of the race, so as long as Burnouts IP doesn't change I can join (please host @ Burnouts). If that happens, Lanz or Burnout will have to pace the first half of the race OR the first half will have to be player managed until I can join.

I would probably suggest doing player management because I will almost certainly be there at some point during the race, and also since I now check the whole race to count laps lead and caution laps, any bogus cautions can be called out and punished accordingly. NO CAUTIONS FOR SINGLE CAR MISTAKES. Unless the wall bounces you so ridiculously its.. ridiculous.
