STANDINGS: Brands Hatch [Race 4 of 24]

Look at 2nd-4th in points. TIED! Szymek's win overpowers Wokinger and JonnO not having visited Victory Lane yet putting Szymek in the runner up spot in points.
Barely leading eight laps at Brands Hatch was the difference from being 4th or 2nd in points, crazy.

But the points really don't mean much except maybe for bragging rights. Chase points are another story altogether. Chasers have their points reset to 1000 after Race #16 with bonuses applied from all Top 5 finishes throughout the year. Three bonus points are awarded for each win, two points for any other Top 3 finishes and one point for any other Top 5 finishes over the course of the season. As of now here are the Chase points for the current six qualifiers.

Nice points at the moment.. should be an interesting battle for the chase, especially the wildcard.

Man, just if I didn't lag into the wall at Vegas, that was surely going to be my win, I could be +8 points! And without the lag at brands probably a +1 on laps lead. All kicks off on Sunday when im on good internet until September!
