Burnout finds Victory Lane once again at Texas Motor Speedway for his third win of 2019. This victory nearly clinched the regular season bonus, but not quite. With a nine point gap between Burnout and Dore, Dore is forced to win and lead 40% or more of the laps at Talladega in order to possibly score enough points from his drop to tie or take over the points lead. Burnout however, would have to score 24 points or less to lose the points lead depending on how many laps Dore leads with a win. The likelihood at a drafting track to lead that many laps is not very likely, but if he gets enough help with pushing to keep the lead, it could make things interesting.
You never know quite what to expect at Talladega - it'll be the last race before the championship run begins. Burnout is the defending winner from 2018. Come join us on Wednesday!
