ENTRY LIST: Talladega [Race 19 of 24] - CHASE RACE #3

Tuesday, July 26th will be Chase Race #3 at Talladega Superspeedway.  JonnO dominated the event at Talladega this past Spring and won, but not after Shyguy had a lag spike in the trioval on the final lap to lose it.  JonnO got around and took the checkered flag.

Shyguy looks to erase thoughts of that race out of his mind with a big victory here this week to close in on the points lead.  He sits along with Burnout, six points behind championship leader Dore with six races remaining.  A win will be on he and Burnout's mind, to really capitalize on a chance to climb back into title contention sooner rather than later.  Dore, by the way, is our defending winner of the Chase race here last season so he knows his way to victory lane here too!

All three drafting races at Daytona and Talladega this year have been won by different drivers - Shyguy, JonnO, and Simms - but all drivers from Great Britian.  If Sam were to race, he might have a shot to sweep the GB domination with four different drivers!

It'll be a stressful race for the Chasers to remain in the draft and be around for the frantic finish to the line.  It's your last chance to participate in a drafting race for Full Throttle Cup this year, so make plans for Tuesday!

You'll probably be pretty popular since none of the Chasers are going to push each other

I'll push whoever I see fit to push - basically meaning: if you show effort to help me from time to time, I'll help you.  I expect the same back.

People that never want to work together, always wanting to pass, are not worth my time to push and could hurt your chances at a win.

Making friends even with your rivals, could pay off.

And a simple tip, if you are in a pack of 4 or less cars behind the lead pack - PUSH EACH OTHER!!!  It is faster to do that than to race it out, you could even gain back time.  Showing common sense in that sort of situation also builds your credibility as a push partner.  Pulling out of line in an organized draft line trying to catch the leaders to pass slows the draft and shows us you have no intention of working together.
