The new Tsukuba is on its way!

Hi All! As you may know, I am Rendy, that one Indonesian Turbo Sliders player whose track Tsukuba you guys are using. I'm very glad that all of you enjoyed the course, as the course I made was one of my favorite tracks. I also registered to the old SCARTS site beforehand as CBA-R35, but I kinda ignore it for other matters such as other games like GeneRally, and watching series.

I would like to know that the new Tsukuba is on its way; judging from the good reception from SCARTS racers, I think it's time for a makeover to the track. You can read my blog post at my blog at hinurendysblog(dot)blogspot(dot)com/ to see how the new Tsukuba would look like, and I'm sure you'll be enjoying it and use it for the subsequent seasons of any SCARTS series.

I wrote that blog which keeps track of my creations for both TS and GR, as well as other games. I also published some of my first TS tracks there along with their download links. As promised, maybe I could need your help in working the SCARTS version?

I'd be happy to help in any way I can to get it suited for us.  I'm available all day Saturday - perhaps a group test with our guys to perfect it.

If all goes well, I will debut it in our Turbocharged Series this coming November - I was planning new road courses during the Cup, so a remake of this would be perfect. And you are invited to compete as well!

Hmm... It's been a long time that I haven't taste online racing in TS since I played some Rally servers months ago, but that's another story because it is a Rally... I will make sure I am online at 8-9 AM JKT time (that means 21-22 ET for you) if my condition permits me.

Burn and I talked once after we had a race with dore (?) after the Las Vegas race. I thought that the new Tsukuba's testing would be next week at weekends. Of course we have to find a good time since I've got 11 hours of difference between my place and ET.

Suggestions?

Though since races are held morning in my time + I had some home chores to do unless at weekends + I might encounter lags mid-race, maybe I would do some testings if my condition allows me to. But if you are to see me racing in SCARTS... Why not?

Rendy, I'm back saturday night (writing this from honduras now).  SCARTS runs Las Vegas on Sunday and I need to prepare Homestead Monday/Tuesday for Rising Star and Full Throttle's season finale races.  I can fit in time Thursday-Saturday afternoons if that works out for you.  Best time to catch me will be at racetime Sunday. Feel free to compete with us - you had good pace in test with Dore.

Following the public release of Turbo Sliders's new version, I'm planning to re-do the Tsukuba so it can fit to the new maximum resolution of 4000x4000. No, it's not really a total re-do, yet I just need to replicate the correct existing tiles and also doing some minor design fixes. Also worth noting is that I will adapt the track to fit SCARTS's standards, by looking at how the track pattern looks as the track is used in the race event.

Also, apologizes if I am unable to arrange a testing for the new version (which is the second version) due to my real life activities. However, after the new, bigger version is done and time permits me to do so, I would love to arrange a test race with you guys.

PS: I might also do other American tracks if I have some time, maybe Daytona with all the Road Courses or Circuit of The Americas for starters. I'm focusing on making road courses.

Sounds good Rendy, however don't do Daytona I've already made it to 4000x4000, I'm completing it now.  It'll be ready to kick off our new SCARTS Road Course Series.  It'd be awesome if you can design some more, I'd be happy to include them in this years series.

Does your Daytona include all the road course configurations too?

Yes it does, feel free to try it with me sometime.  The handling I'm still tweaking but its more than raceable.  Delux and I had three finishes within .04 seconds during some early test runs.

This will kickoff our brand new SCARTS Road Course Series.  Feel free to participate if you ever can this year!

The second version of Tsukuba has come out per this blog post. There was an issue with the custom tiles the first time I released it but thankfully I have taken care of. Only minor tile changes done to the track.

I guess I will have to let this version roll before I am able to do the third version. I just need to let it be used in competitions for the time being. Feel free to consult me about placements of SCARTS-related tiles

Just download one of my tracks from 2014 to get the racing tiles. Place them wherever.
