Problems Installing TurboSliders Version 2.4.2.2

I for some reason had to copy the .dll files from the previous version of turbosliders into c:\windows\syswow64 and then I was able to successfully run the sliders-2.4.2.2.exe file. However, I have no idea if I am running the new version or not or any indication that it did anything. How do I know?

Yeah alut.dll was probably goofed or something. When you launch the game, on the main screen you should see 2.4.2.2 in the lower left hand corner.

Well then I am not getting the new version. Do I need to uninstall the old version or have it installed already?
When I open the sliders-2.4.2.2.exe just a box flashes up really quick and then goes away. I don't see anything else, and I don't see where anything is actually installed to my computer?

No, the sliders 2.4.2.2 file goes into the file where your normal sliders.exe is located. You don't have to replace that file, just add 2.4.2.2 into the same folder. This is a launch file.

Nevermind. I figured it out. Just copy the sliders-2.4.2.2.exe to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Jollygood Games\Turbo Sliders and then run that instead of sliders.exe...or delete sliders.exe and rename sliders-2.4.2.2.exe to sliders.exe so all shortcuts still work.

Hey guys, I've been trying to get hold of Burnout via Skype and e-mail to see about getting the new version, but I either have the wrong addresses or he missed my messages. I have to trying to join the races this season, but so far I've just had to stare at the server screen. Anyone think they can help me out?
