Burnout lost the points lead to Lanz trying to regain a lap down at Dover this past race. He drove around race leader Dore to get back on the lead lap late in the race, but immediately makes a mental error and crashes into the Turn 2 wall collecting Dore in the incident. Lanz drives by the claim the victory. Lanz now leads Burnout by one point entering Charlotte coming up.
So, Charlotte is next, a track Dore won at this past Spring in the 600 kilometer event. Lanz won the race here in last years Chase. Burnout won the 600 last year. So the Top 3 in points have all had success here in recent races. Who will capitalize on Sunday? Find out then!
