RACE 9 OF 24 - SCARTS WORLD 600 @ CHARLOTTE
===========================================
Sunday, May 26th is 'Motorsports Sunday'. Formula 1 races Monaco to kick off the day, then it's the Indianapolis 500 for the IndyCar Series, then NASCAR's longest race: The Coca-Cola 600 Sunday night.
Additionally, SCARTS will run during the window of time between the conclusion of the Indy 500 and the start of the Coca-Cola 600. The timing of our Charlotte races this year is PERFECT since we will run OUR 600 before the Coca-Cola 600! This will be the only Sunday Full Throttle Cup Series race, and it's all because of wanting to schedule this race exactly with NASCAR's event to make an epic racing quadruple header on TV and Turbo Sliders!
Last year, Burnout beat JonnO in a thrilling long run to the checkered flag. Burnout got wrecked by a lapcar late in the race and put forth a great drive to re-pass JonnO in the last two laps.
I felt the SCARTS All-Star race featured some excellent racing this past Wednesday so I'm looking forward to some more great Charlotte action on Sunday!
Remember, the moment the Indy 500 ends on Sunday, get onto Turbo Sliders to join us in our marathon SCARTS World 600!
