Burnout scored the win at Nashville putting him well in the hunt for challenging Lanz for the Turbocharged Series title. Races 9 and 10 are 'drop races' for those guys to improve upon poor finishes earlier in the season. Burnout has two 4th place finishes where Lanz has a 4th and a 2nd place. Burnout has a slight edge in terms of the amount of points he can gain versus Lanz per race, but would still need wins to make big impact.
Race 9 will be at Michigan International Speedway with the road course scheduled being moved to the season finale on Feburary 17th. So, this will be the final oval race in the FTC2012 car before switching to the Gen-6 FTC2013 cars for Full Throttle Cup.
Come join us on Sunday for a great championship fight that's sure to happen between Lanz and Burnout.
