Starting to look toward investments..

Hey guys.

I'm currently looking at any investments that I can make in the league. Right now I'm deciding on getting a .com domain for us. Yes or no?

I presume it would cost money to buy it, what would be the benefits compared to staying on this one? :] Apart from shorter address hehe

That's basically it, and it's a bit more professional sounding lol. But because of the obvious lack of interest, I'll look for another way. Maybe some promoting on Google or something.

We've tried this before. The site we had did not draw much attention and wasn't updated well. This forum grants me quite a bit of flexibility and I'm well accustomed with how it functions. Truth is I prefer this method of site hosting and I wouldn't want to switch or find the time to update two websites timely.

I've finally finished making the SCARTS on SlidersTV template (so I should be able to make full race videos in 5-7 days in future, highlights in 3-4), so promote that That invariably will also make us popular with other leagues, as people would check out the rest of SlidersTV with the F1 Speed League and the Turbosliders.com F1 League, as well as whatever future leagues get on there.

Shootout video is coming, thankyou for patience! Obviously it has taken ages making all the different graphics as this is a first video, but from here on all videos can follow the template from this one so should take half the time.

I don't think we're on the same page here. lol

I wasn't talking about using Webs.com, or making an actual main website, I was talking about using a redirect domain so that when someone types in www.scartsracing.com, they go directly to this forum.

Oh ok...yeah that might work then.
