YELLOW DATES & TIMES represent new scheduled times for the remaining races in 2012. Tuesday races at 4pm ET on the dates shown.

Burnout, Lanz want's his Martinsville tested in Rising Star before next year - (hopefully we can debut in in FTC then). I suggested then that we swap the Montreal Rising Star race with Martinsville.. And he agreed.

So this would mean, Martinsville is a RS only race, Mexico remains a RS only raced pair with Montreal as a Cup only race. This kinda makes sense - Montreal is not a permanent course throughout the year, its only there for 2 weekends - the Grand Prix and the NASCAR race.

The only other option is to swap Mexico to Cup and Montreal to Rising Star (the normal protocol with testing tracks) and then when Montreal would of been run in Rising Star, put Martinsville then.

and here it is! track is ready, exceptions are: good tarmac+concrete settings,fast tarmac and wallstick! rest works i think! i leave that on you burnout!

I'm going to give my support to Martinsville...i just tested it in both the Rs car and the Cup car and it is very well done! it is an excellent representation of Martinsville and drive very well..walls have the right amount of bounce to keep you from bouncing too bad into traffic and the wallsticks are not even that bad..you can gently get clear of them at the end of the straight...good work Lanz!!

thx yeah i also think the bounce factor is good and it should be smaller to other tracks! in phoenix for example its pretty much for sure to much for this small track! but i stucked in the wall a few times without getting back out again, that should be really fixed too, to avoid to many yel´s because of wallstick!

Don't worry, it's not hard. But what about the calendar?

I'm always down for a new track - I'll give it a spin here soon and see how it is.

UPDATE: Brands Hatch will replace the scheduled Mexico City and Martinsville will replace the scheduled Montreal race. Mexico City will move into the original Brands Hatch slot.

Table corrected for the agreement last night. Basically, Mexico is scrapped and replaced by Martinsville. But if you want to go technically:

Brands Hatch replaces Mexico
Martinsville replaces Brands Hatch
Montreal remains paired with its FTC race

I've also worked out some race lengths and put them in there. If the race is 200 miles in FTC, I've put it to 150 miles in RS.

well seems good schedule to me since we ran mexico last year! and since montreal and martinsville are new tracks we should test them both in order to check them in a race before we ran them in FT series!
