CHarter Mon Oct 17, 2011 9:28 pmI thought i'd put this up to give thoughts and prayers to the family of Dan Wheldon, this is a tough loss for all of auto racing and I personally took this one kind of rough, I remember meeting Dan back in '03 or '04 and just how kind of an individual he was.He will be missed by the entire racing community

RIP Dan Wheldon, he's my favourite indycar driver along with Dario and Will, and it was a tough tough loss. Makes me really question the safety of open wheelers on such fast ovals.

It would of taken a strong man not to have a tear in his eye if he watched this live.. utterly heartbreaking, about his wife and two kids especially.

Dan Wheldon was a great guy it was pretty cool to know that he was an English man made me extremely proud when I saw him win the Indy 500 this year.
I'd also like to pay my respects to Marco Simoncelli the Moto GP rider who died last week.
