STANDINGS: Homestead [Race 18 of 18]

There was a tie for 3rd which had to be tiebroken somehow between Lanz and Domotec. As you can see, they both made equal starts and had the same number of wins, top 3s AND top 5s. So we decided for Lanz to earn 3rd place ahead of Domotec for this reason:

- Lanz finished consistenly better than Domotec in the races both of them competed in.

Shyguy and I both analyzed the players' finishes and ruled it appropriate for Lanz to get the nod for 3rd place. Lanz seemed to have bad luck when Domotec didn't race and Domotec had good luck when Lanz didn't. It's interesting how the points and stats ended up tied as a result. We did NOT want to count poles toward the final seedings so we felt the best tiebreaker was to rank them based on how they raced each other.

Thanks for a great season everyone.It was awesome to have the competition we had and it was a challenge to earn this title, you all made me work for it! I wish i would have run the last week of the season but I felt a break was finally in order haha. Here's to November and Turbocharged and here's to another awesome season in 2012!
