STANDINGS: Auto Club II [Race 12 of 20]

CHASE NOTES:

-Lexx and Shyguy are locked into the Chase by virtue of points.

- Burnout still holds the wildcard position but his wildcard can transfer to Burn or mathematically Slick if Burnout enters the Top 5.

-Slick has entered the Top 12. Slick can sneak into the Chase as the wildcard by:
-- Winning at least one more race to make him the winningest driver outside the Top 5 after Race #14.
-- Scoring 41 points on Burn in the next two races(Slick wouldn't need to win, but he'd need to finish in the Top 2 and get three bonus points amongst those two races). Burn can't start a race for this scenario to happen.

What are the bonuses for the Chase?

Also, the remaining 3 spots (+1) for the Chase will be an interesting battle!

3 points for a win, 2 for a top 3, 1 for a top 5. So that means currently it would be:

And then the wildcard spot get's no bonus points. I guess that's just reflective of how well me and lexx have run all year.

No Shyguy, I originally intended for our wildcard to get points due to Top 3s/5s counting. NASCAR only counts wins, we count everything.

It would be insurmountable not counting those. Counting those, I'd be ranked fourth with 9 points, still unlikely to win the title but a more feasible chance than entering with zero.
