Burnout inherits the win at Charlotte Motor Speedway after a 5 second penalty for Dore setting him back into 4th place. That propels Burnout to a 19 point lead in the standings over Dore which greatly helps his hopes for the 2018 championship. However, four races remain and two of them are drop races so Dore still has plenty of time to rebound and take shots at the championship.
Martinsville is up next, another place where Dore has a great track record. He won the Spring race here so this race will be pivotal for him to keep in championship contention. Szymek is the defending winner of this playoff event last year.
The championship battle heats up this coming Wednesday! Come join us!
