RESULTS: Wine Country 250 @ Sonoma [Race 7 of 18]

This marks the first Rising Star race after a rule change allowing Cup Winners to race up to 6 races a year in the series. Burnout was the first driver to take advantage of this new rule which we had been discussing leading up to the race and decided to implement after only a small field showed up.

Halfway Bonus:

Burnout

- Burnout get's the halfway bonus because of the clear jump on him at the restart before.. I will just treat it as if the caution was a lap longer.

- Awesome race to the checkers between Charter and Popo.. only 0.002 separated them at the line

- Burnout takes full advantage of being the first cup winner in the Rising Star series and wins the first road course race of the year! Lanz and Popo both fueled their cars too light, Lanz ran out with 2 laps to go whereas Popo gambled and only just made it across the finish line.. After running in the back all day, Charetr and Domo managed to take podium positions.. great for both their championship assaults.

ehm! i was on the lead with one lap to go but i messed up calculation! 5% that i missed!lol
but i have to say it was great racing! more such tracks!

edit: i forgot to say that i didnt liked that gift to burnout from the race control! getting 2 laps and full tyres was a bit to much! guys in front had to wait and therefore no chance to hold him back! speccialy with these kind of settings! consider this for the next time pls!

WOW! Great Job Arjen! I newcomer taking the pole is a big deal for sure! Let's see more of that!!!
