PLAYOFF IMPLICATIONS:

- Laf is 72 points ahead of Szymek in the points standings, which means that he is guaranteed to finish the regular season ahead of Szymek in the points to claim a filler position.  The only way for Laf to miss the playoffs is if both Szymek and Simms win the next two races.  They are the only other drivers that can win and have the required amount of starts necessary to participate in the playoffs to knock Laf out.  If Burnout, Dore or Delux win at Indianapolis, Laf will be lock into the playoffs a week early clinching a filler transfer spot and of course if Laf wins himself.

- Simms is in essentially a must-win situation to make the playoffs.  If he wins at Indianapolis, Szymek is forced to win at Richmond or else Laf gets in on points.  If Szymek doesn't run the next two races, Simms COULD point himself in but would need 43 points to do so.

- Laf could win at Indianapolis to put Szymek in the filler position for the playoffs, but must hope Simms doesn't win at Richmond or gain 43 points on him should he miss the next two races.
