Wednesday is Race #10 @ Texas Motor Speedway for the Racin' Edge Truck Series. Burnout has won the past two races at Nashville and Richmond, allowing him to gain back a huge chunk of points on Dore and has temporarily taken over the points lead - the thing is Dore has started one less race and should retake the lead following Texas with a good run.
These last three races will be drop races for Burnout, but he has the opportunity to gain back a max possible 17 points to drop his run at Talladega with his finish coming up at Texas. Another big win will limit the points Dore can score in his final full value race before he hits his drop races coming up. If Burnout can pull off another victory, the championship race will tighten up heavily but any one win by Dore might be enough to cushion himself enough to take the championship. This is a key race for Burnout to keep close and continue to put the pressure on Dore going into Indy and Homestead.
Burnout, by the way, is undefeated at Texas in the truck series winning both 2010 races and looks to take win #3.
