Players were most likely going to miss Wednesday so the decision was made to move this upcoming Chase Race #4 to THIS TUESDAY, October 2nd @ 5pm ET. This week just so happens to be an offweek for Rising Star, so this day opened as a backup day. A poll was placed this week to see if the Tuesday day would be supported and the vote won 7-3.
So this Chase Race will get underway at 5pm ET on Tuesday.
JonnO expanded his points lead by just a little over Lanz but Burnout continues to inch closer and closer into the picture, gaining back four more points on the points lead bringing him to -4 back of JonnO.
Auto Club has proven to be a wildcard race over the years with three different winners in the past three FTC races (Lexx & Slick last year and Lanz this past Spring). Can Burnout go four Chase wins in a row or will JonnO or Lanz finally take a stand and score a victory to take control of the Chase? Find out Tuesday.
NOTE: Burnout is trying to tie Shyguy with most consecutive SCARTS victories this week - seven wins in a row in the last seven SCARTS starts (combining FTC and RS). In Burnout's last six SCARTS starts, he has won four Full Throttle Cup races and his last two Rising Star Series starts. So seven straight to tie the record is up for grabs.
