RESULTS: Bluebonnet 500 @ Texas [Race 6 of 24]

- What a finish there after the late caution for Lanz's hard wallhit.. I called it quite quickly, but I feel it was probably consistent with previous caution callings, he did go right the way to the apron very quickly..

- An incredible final stint for both Sam and Simms making it a British 1-2-3 and a Hendrick 1-2.. Sam especially has to be noted for passing 3 cars in the final corner to take the podium spot!

What a great way to cap off a great week of racing at Texas. A British 1-2-3 I never thought I'd live to see the day. Congrats to Jonno and Sam for making it possible just a shame we didn't do it at Brands Hatch. I'm also incredibly pleased with my best ever Full Throttle Cup result of second but more impressed with how it was part of this historic occasion.
To quote Shakespeare's Henry V "And gentlemen in England now abed (Drillz )Shall think themselves accursed they were not here (Texas) and hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks, that fought with us upon Saint Crispin's Day.

And finally well done Chaps Lets hope us Brits can repeat this feat many more times and hopefully Shyguy can join us.

Wtf were you two doing up at 5am!

The race was pretty bad for me all the way through but I played for the lucky dogs twice and got back to the lead lap. On the last restart I was in 4th and got an incredible amount of speed going into turn 1, held the outside line and from there on I never looked back

4 laps led - YEAH!

And yeah JonnO.. we've seemed to have more of those types of wins than ever recently! Strange to be honest.. Dominant cars just aren't closing out the race. However, there clearly wasn't a dominant car yeseterday - 8 different leaders! Nice!

What a final stint! I had a pretty poor night until that point. Making mistakes, going laps down, getting caught out by cautions during green flag pitstops twice and having to go off strategy.
Then that final run was amazing, I'm not sure if I was on lower fuel then other people or something because for the first time I was actually able to pass people! Well done to Jonno and Simms for doing amazing runs at the end too!

This was my best ever result in FTC and I would like to dedicate it to Sir Frank Williams on his 70th Birthday
I'm surprised about this race as I was very ill all day and was considering parking it if I couldn't concentrate. Cannot wait to see the replay of the end now, Shy needs to get on Skype to send it tbh.
