Do you all have any ideas for the new forum you'd like to see implemented? List your ideas here!

Teams and drivers maybe :/

In my mind, would be a good idea if the teams were personals. Example: My team is "X Racing", if I like Burnout running in my team, I would invite him.

Would work in the same structure of CS clans.

Could you clarify on this a little deeper? I might implement this later if it's efficient enough.

In Counter Strike, all plays with a nickname. fsv, example.
Fsv play this very well so we will call him for our clan/team(X team). Now, fsv is player of X team.

Now, in TS.

We have 3 registered teams: x1 racing, x2 racing and x3 racing (with sections in fórum for show members/contact/races.. to community).
x1 racing is searching one member to complete their team (2/3/4/n members). If x1 racing invite fsv and fsv accept this, he will be a teammate of all x1 racing members.


Different of teams ready as RFR, JGR. Do you understand?

Example: visit www.cs2d.com.br/forum

Look their teams with a section for expose their subjects.

Nice idea fsv....I'll need to talk it over with Derek, Rap, and you though. Wonder where Raptor is....

Lol That's not what I was trying to get at, your english is just fine. I just needed to understand the concept of your idea.

If I understand correctly, I think we already did this before. We had sections up in the forums and everything. No one really took a liking to it though; there wasn't a lot of posting in those forums.

I like fsv's idea, but Burnout, have you seen the team format for the Turboslider's F1 Series. I've been driving that on Sunday's and the team format is as follow:

Team Leader: Burn
Group A: Burn, Burnout, DerekE
Group B: Lee, Aniro, fsv

Team Leader: Pilburn
Group A: Pilburn, DOC, Lexx
Group B: Charger, Kooler, fastman65

Group A has 1 race, points are tallied (check out the F1 points system as well, it's pretty efficient).
THEN, Group B races, points are tallied.

We could also implement more teams with less players in them for more competitive racing. Like 4 per team Group A, Group B, Group C. If someone would like to be bumped up to Group A, they can ask the team leader and they can challenge either the Group Leader or the other person in Group A to a race of let's say 30 laps on Charlotte or something.

Think about it, I'll be on MSN to elaborate more if you need it.

Your idea is nice too, I liked the system of two groups in the same team and the challenge for can go to group A.

It's interesting...yeah I'd like to discuss it more to fully understand it.

Post a reply with questions here cause I'm a bit busy this weekend, I probably won't be around until Sunday.

1. If you jump the start you get a drive through e.g what Burn done to me and lee at Bristol

2. If you lag out we don't wait. Stop in the middle of the track and leave you get a one race ban.

3. Be a dirty driver next race you will have a grid drop, start in pits or 10points deducted in championship.

4. The team idea Lee and FSV said is a very good idea. Its like me and lee making a team

Massey Dixon Racing [MDR] (stands for lol in frence)

Nice idea, but I'm probably going to implement it for 2011. The Turbocharged Series will retain the 2010 team format, basically choosing the car you want and team with whoever you want in a NASCAR team car. (i.e. #29 and #31 of RCR)

Burnout, once we get a good "base" with more dedicated drivers, then we can start talking about new things. I think as soon as we're ready, admins and mods have a meeting and we'll decide on what we want to do.

I also think when we're deciding we do it in a voting format, we have 2 choices and which ever one gets more votes is the one we want. Democracy instead of your "tyranny" over the formats and such the past few years (not that is was bad tyranny LOL)!
