It's not so clear, but if we put a clear green line in front of Szy's car, we can see that Jonno's car is a ahead, just by 5 pixels more or less

i already said that to burnout but it's just like speaking to a wall! we had a dead finish and it's not fair to rob that away from szy! so why not giving both dudes the 22 points for a race win + the 1 point for a win going into the chase!? why we have to choose a winner from a pic that is not even relevant?
just wanted to make clear that this is not my decision and i also don't understand the thinking here!

That timing line placement is a flaw - pretty much every other track has it placed correctly.  This track was created about 3 years ago and I placed it at the yellow line by accident and it never got fixed.  ALL NASCAR FINISHES ARE ANALYZED BY VIDEO EVIDENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  JonnO clearly has it won watching the tape and by photograph.  There is no such thing as a tie - the car who is visually ahead at the finish of a race is the winner.  To hell what the time says - it is negated at that point.  Bristol scored the tie at the yellow (hence the 0.000 and that wasn't even exactly even, the game rounded it down to 0.000 and JonnO was still ahead) which was not the intended zone by which the start/finish line should have been placed.  I believe that since Szymek led the previous lap (249) the game assumed Szymek still was leading at the checkers since JonnO only 'got to him' but did NOT pass him.  It detected it as a tie, meaning we surpassed the closest way the game could call a finish and the video confirmed that the 48 indeed was ahead of the 29.

Answer me this: where on the frontstrech is the 29 ever ahead of the 48 car?  I believe he passes him at the SCARTS logo after the stripe.  So regardless timing lines or anything, the 48 kept the lead past the stripe and he wins.  It was just SO CLOSE that the game rounded down the interval to 0.000.  Could've been 0.0004 but it rounded it down.

Visually the recording is incorrect and flawed as the pixels on the front of Szy's car as missing which are clearly apparent in the car png file. The game just doesn't show the cars properly otherwise it would be clear that Szy won/drew.

So I wouldn't go by video evidence as it is wrong however, I don't write the rules.
