If you were to ask me before the Chase started, Tony Stewart probably wouldn't have been included in my list of possible competitors to race for the Cup. This guy has amazed and astounded me through the course of the Chase, it seems, week-in and week-out, with his aggressive driving and trash talking, but with the skills to put it all together and back it all up in the end.
I'd like to congratulate him in winning his 3rd Championship in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, and his 1st Championship in his newly owned Stewart-Haas Racing team.
Theres a lot to talk about the Championship. One of the things being he only beat Carl Edwards because of the Tie Breaker (winning the most races in the season), but also that Darian Grubb (Tony Stewarts Crew Chief) has announced today of his leave from the #14 team.
